Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have under applicable data protection law including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Sending account-related communications (security alerts, policy updates)
Understanding the geographic distribution of our community for internal planning
Improving our services and developing future features

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial, advertising, or marketing purposes. Your data stays with KETU RPG.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Under GDPR, we process your data on the following legal bases:

Contract performance — processing your username, email, and DOB is necessary to provide the service you registered for.
Legal obligation — age verification is required to comply with our Terms and applicable law.
Legitimate interest — optional country data is processed to understand and serve our community better, with minimal privacy impact.
Consent — for any optional communications or features introduced in the future, we will request explicit consent.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you request account deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days of the request, except where retention is required by law.

Anonymized or aggregated data (e.g. country statistics with no personal identifiers) may be retained indefinitely for analytical purposes.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL), secure password storage, and access controls.

While we take security seriously, no system is completely immune to risk. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

We use only essential cookies necessary for the platform to function — specifically for session management and authentication. We do not use tracking, advertising, or third-party analytics cookies.

If we introduce non-essential cookies in the future, we will request your explicit consent via a cookie consent notice before setting them.

9. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services which may process data on our behalf:

Cloudflare — DNS, SSL, and network security. May process IP addresses for security purposes. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
Payment processors — for voluntary donations. Payment data is handled entirely by the payment provider and is not stored by KETU RPG.

We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party behavioral tracking services.

10. International Data Transfers

Your data is stored on servers located in the Czech Republic. If any data processing occurs outside the EU/EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with GDPR requirements.

11. Children's Privacy

KETU RPG is strictly for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. If we become aware that a minor has registered, we will immediately delete their account and associated data.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page and notify registered users of significant changes via email or platform notification.
